Andrew Garfield

Andrew Russell Garfield is an American actor, producer and director from Los Angeles California. Garfield is well-known for his roles in films including The Social Network (2010) The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and Hacksaw Ridge (2016). Garfield began his professional performance career in the stage, before making his TV debut in Sugar Rush at the age of five in 2005. He made then his movie debut with Mumbojumbo. In 2010, he achieved recognition for his performance in The Social Network. He then portrayed Spider-Man, the popular character, in the new film version directed by Marc Webb. He is the son of American Richard Garfield and British Lynn Hillman and has an older brother named Ben. The family relocated from the American continent to the UK when he was three. The young man was educated and brought up in Surrey. He began acting lessons early and took part in several school plays. He took his first steps into the theater in the Central School of Speech and Drama, London.
